Well, what a wonderful few days I had last week with the fab Klara from Birds in the Attic!
We presented 4 Christmas styling workshops to over 70 ladies… we’re feeling very festive now! A big thank you to Lou from The Greenery for joining us this year to run a floral practical session where our attendees made something gorgeous to take home.
We were joined by a lovely group of ladies who travelled from near and far… including Ireland, Manchester, London, Wales & Surrey! We giggled, shared ideas and hugged cups of hot drink with mince pies and cupcakes… it really was the perfect start to the festive season.
We carefully selected a beautiful range of goodies made locally and also from the high street to inspire our attendees to mix and match a gorgeous range of table decor, festive room details and those all important finishing touches. A big thank you to Miss Sammie Designs for providing us with lots of brush lettering finishing touches for the workshop including the gorgeous bread bags above.
Our theme this year was foraging.. the things you can find on a dog walk or a neighbour’s garden!
Our workshops this year also included a hands on session with Lou from The Greenery. Lou talked about all things floral at winter, including conditioning flowers and the various ways you can make a rustic homemade wreath with foliages from the garden.
Of course, we had lots of nibbles including mince pies, cupcakes and lots of sweet treats.
Another locally sourced item we displayed was this delightful ‘lets stay home’ banner by Allie from Polly & Me.
Our attendees left with lots of festive goodies!
The final session was a start to finish table dressing demonstration… this is where these gorgeous little chaps came into play. They’re from Bowbeaus.
We’ll be back next year with a whole new workshop bursting with festive inspiration.
