Yesterday, I met with Klara from Birds in the Attic to put together an inspirational table setting for Mother’s Day! We both have entertaining to do this year and thought we would share our ideas with you! We also used the session as an opportunity to look at how the Spring Market VIP area will come together too as the theme will carry over nicely to the event.
The table runner is a Birds in the Attic creation, hessian hand stamped with white to create a polka dot effect. White mini chocolate eggs scattered around the table are perfect for decoration and for little hands to reach for!
We took our inspiration from the seasons, mixing eucalyptus, foraged blossom and pink and white ranunculus from the flower market. We chose wrapping paper by Kate Leamon, one of our favourites to create a natural, floral theme perfect for Mother’s Day.
The placename tag was hand written made by Polly & Me, placed in a rustic wooden holder & finished with a sprig of eucalyptus, it’s the perfect welcome to the table. The cake is a simple victoria sponge, placed on a bed of eucalyptus and blossom. We think the more cream and jam, the better!
The name place holders are part of the vast event decor stock owned by Birds in the Attic, along with the glass cloche that looks super pretty sat on top of the nameplace.
A simple finishing touch is the addition of blossom flowers to the blush drink, tying everything together.
I’ve been working with Klara from Birds in the Attic for over two years now, if you’ve attended any of my food and gift Markets as a VIP you will have been able to enjoy the VIP Area styled by Klara! To find out more about Klara’s business do visit Birds in the Attic.
