What a weekend! I’m still reminiscing over last weekend’s Christmas Market; the visitor turnout, the beautiful stallholders and the little festive bubble we created at The Roundhouse.

With flood warnings, closed roads and an unknown weather forecast, Friday was a roller coaster for me. Come Saturday morning, the rain had stopped and the stallholders all arrived to set up… still lots of local road closures, but once 10am arrived we opened and the lovely visitors joined us. A huge thank you to everyone who were so determined to join us and tackled road diversions to reach us.

This year’s Christmas Market celebrated 10 years of Fabulous Places Markets at The Roundhouse and what a way to celebrate… a reminder for me how unpredictable event organising can be, but I can honestly say that it was all worthwhile. This year’s Christmas Market was our best to date and the perfect way to celebrate the 10 year anniversary.
Here are some photos from the weekend… if you weren’t able join us this time, my next Market is the Spring Market on Sunday 29th March 2020 back at The Roundhouse. If you’re a stallholder and would like to register your interest for a space, please click here.
