With under 3 weeks to go until I open the doors of The Roundhouse, it’s all systems go for the final preparations for the Spring Market. This is the first of 3 Markets I present at the venue and the Spring Market holds a special place in my heart… the seasonal blooms, colours, over 100 small businesses to browse & not forgetting the delicious food on offer make for a beautiful event after what seems like a long Winter.

This will be my 10th year of Markets at The Roundhouse, since the first Christmas Market back in 2010 I have introduced the Summer & then the Spring Markets to my offering. I absolutely love the events, they were born from a passion for small independent creatives who sell the most fabulous things. Most importantly, for me, I introduced the events as they weren’t available in my home County of Derbyshire. I would travel by car or train to reach an event where I would be able to browse inspiring stalls and feel I didn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Luckily for me, these types of events weren’t available… otherwise I wouldn’t be doing what I am now, because I absolutely love the events and long may they continue to offer a platform for small creatives to sell their products.
If you live a little further afield, the great news is that the Roundhouse is next door to Derby Train Station and can also been easily found by car with lots of parking nearby. If you’re thinking of joining us, here are some photos to give you an idea of what you can expect to find!
