North Norfolk is around a 3 hour drive away for us, so not too far for a short break. Norfolk is one of my favourite places, it has everything… beach, town and countryside. I especially love Norfolk for the great range of fab eateries and shops.
A stop off we always make time for is Stiffkey Stores. A coffee shop selling interiors, fab things for little ones, books, groceries and a post office!
I always find a great new book for Lily, they have a wonderful hand selected range of books and stationery.
When you walk into Stiffkey Stores you are likely to be welcomed by the smell of freshly ground coffee and baking cakes!
The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea is a favourite destination of ours, especially the beach huts!
There’s a cafe near the beach offering a great place to grab some lunch. You can easily spend all day on the beach, it’s one of my favourites in the UK.
Another recommendation is Back to the Garden in Letheringsett. A deli, farm shop and eatery with a fab seasonal menu.
In Holt there are a great selection of cafes, tea room and shops to browse, here are a few of the ones I visited.
PS can be found down a small courtyard, they sell all sorts of lovely things including cards, stationery, freshly baked bread and coffee.
Down Hoppers Yard in Holt you’ll find The Folly Tea Room. Perfect for afternoon tea.
Do check the opening times for each place… there’s nothing more disappointing than making a special trip to a place and it’s not open.
