As part of my new category on the blog, Spaces, I am delighted to show you my first home interiors post! This gorgeous home belongs to Nicky of Joy Interiors. Nicky shares this delightful 300 year old cottage with her husband and three young boys in the rural village of Appleby Magna in Derbyshire.
I met homeowner, Nicky, at my Handpicked Food & Gift Markets. From the range of products, presentation and style of Nicky’s stand, I knew this would be a reflection of her home style.
Nicky’s kitchen is dream, I love it, but one particular feature that has to be mentioned is the AGA, simply gorgeous. The tiles caught my eye too, so much so I have ordered samples for myself!
Nicky’s home is perfectly mixed with old and new pieces, many from the companies Nicky works with and many unique one-off finds. The popular blue and green tones feature throughout with the addition of white and greys, all complimenting one another perfectly.
Nicky has been involved in interior design and styling for over 10 years and this passion has grown into a business. Nicky now offers a full interior design service along with an online shop where you can buy a selection of Nicky’s hand selected products. In addition, Nicky attends local events where a selection of her gorgeous products are available to buy.
You can find Nicky at the Spring Market on Sunday 20th March at The Roundhouse. To find out more about this event please visit the Spring Market website.
Each room in Nicky’s house has been carefully put together, including the rooms for her 3 lucky boys who have equally gorgeous rooms too.
Nicky’s porch is delightfully welcoming with countryside green, personalised door hanging and little details.
