Last week was a busy one, lots of meetings about future projects and planning for the Spring Home, Food & Gift Market. Here is the first in a new series of posts about my week in photo form.
A new sentiment on our kitchen noticeboard… be silly, be honest, be kind. We love being silly in our house and having a 5 year old means we are always giggling, imagining and dancing… a good reminder to keep things light and fun. In many scenarios we often ask ourselves, what would a 5 year old do?
I had a lovely coffee at The Snug at Bow Boutique to talk all things stallholder with All Things Pretty. It’s been a while since I last visited Bow Boutique so I made sure I had time for a browse around the gift shop too.
Last Thursday I popped along to The Little Shed to meet up with Birds in the Attic and The Greenery to talk about future projects… all very exciting and I’m looking forward to making an announcement soon. I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many talented creatives and when we get together we love to talk about what we can do together. All the best ideas are born over coffee.
Friday involved taste testing for this year’s Spring Home, Food & Gift Market pop-up Tea Room. It’s a tough job, but everything served in the is chosen because I love it. The cake, tea and coffee are what I normally eat and drink… it’s super important to me to make sure everything is hand selected, that’s what the events are all about.
I’ve gone a little flower crazy at home! The cold, dull weather is making me crave Spring. I’ve decided to settle on the next best thing and bring Spring into my home in flower form. Spring blooms are everywhere at the moment and they’re all so affordable… that’s my excuse anyway! These gorgeous white lilacs are from The Greenery, Derbyshire.
An exciting delivery… the Spring Home, Food & Gift Market flyers arrived last week and I can’t wait to start distributing them. This week is the Stallholder Evening at The Roundhouse and I can’t wait. The evening is an opportunity for all the stallholders to pop along to the venue, see where their stand will be, hear all about the event, meet other stallholders and pick up promotional materials.
Finally, on Sunday I popped over to Bawdon Lodge with Klara from Birds in the Attic to look at a tipi. I’m going to have to leave it there for now as I need to meet up with Klara and plan before I make an announcement, but I promise I won’t leave it too long!
That’s is for now… see you next week!
