From Scandinavia and beyond. Chalet has 2 floors of eclectic treasures new and old, decorative and practical for you and your home.
Chalet is an exclusive stockist of Angel des Montagnes. Direct from the French Alps, this collection has everything to complete the chalet look from throws, cushions, bedding and lighting thru to unusual gifts and accessories. Chalet also sells Danish candle rings, French decorative shelf edgings, linens and tableware, together with charming gifts for babies and children. Most of Chalets merchandise is sourced outside the UK, making it a unique and exciting place to shop. Other brand names include Lexington, Pierre Frey and Roger Oates.
The shop is owned by Lou Renfree. Lou wanted to create an exciting and unique shop where she could combine her passion for skiing and Alpine living together with my enthusiasm for stylish, unusual and well designed products for the home.
What I love about Chalet Home is each time I visit, I can take my dogs in with me! Lou is a dog lover and is happy for you to take your well behaved pooch into the shop.

There are quite a few reasons to visit Bakewell, but for me the number one reason has to be Chalet Home. The whole shop is a delight, and there are so many unusual treasures, it is impossible not to buy something! Even my dishcloth from Chalet is fab!, and shopping for gifts is easy! Thank you Chalet!
