Photographs are important to many of us and there's nothing quite like capturing a moment in time that can hang proudly on the living room wall. This is where The Studio comes in...with a fabulous portfolio of photographs, whether it's a wedding album or a family
The Studio is a small, relaxed photographic studio in Mickleover, Derby, with a comfy sofa, coffee and biscuits.
Their portrait sittings are by appointment to suit you and their aim is to create beautiful pictures that you’ll love.
The Studio have plain black or white backgrounds, but if you fancy something else, they are more than happy to arrange it and if you really want to go to town, they can arrange hair and make-up stylists - or even a tasty lunch.
Images can be printed in black and white or colour in virtually any size on canvas, in a hand-made frame of your choice or just in a simple mount.
After your sitting, they will invite back to take a look at your shots and decide which ones you like best. They also offer a CD of all your pictures, just in case you can’t make up your mind.
A sitting is £20 which includes a 5x7 mounted print of your choice in either colour or black and white.
The Studio's style of wedding photography is beautiful, relaxed and simple. They will melt into the background and capture the essence of your big day in an informal style, but also take any set-up pictures you would like.
Their service is easy and uncomplicated - they don’t do any confusing packages or fussy albums. Instead, a copyright-free CD of all your pictures (and there might be hundreds) is included in the price. On the disc will be a separate folder of their favourite photos in black and white with adjustments made. You can then have your pictures printed however you like (they are happy to help with this too). There is no limit on the amount of pictures they take at your wedding.
Four hours of photography is £400 + VAT (includes expenses and a copyright-free CD of all your pictures).

I visited the studio to have an up to date photograph done of myself - my company wanted a photo to accompany my profile in a company publication. The photo shoot was done professionally and effectively and I had a number of results to select from. I was happy with the outcome and would use them again - they were also flexible in accommodating my schedule which was a big bonus as well
