After hearing about Ribbon, I realised I had driven past so many times and didn’t notice it was there!
Ribbon is a small independent womenswear boutique, which is situated on the exclusive and historic tree lined Friar Gate in Derby. Ribbon is next door to one of the cities iconic structures, Friar Gate Bridge.
Ribbon is a small boutique filling two rooms with beautiful accessories, jewellery and fashion from a variety of designers. What I like about Ribbon is that the owner, Emma, carefully selects each piece to reflect the shop’s individuality. Whilst browsing Ribbon, I noticed that the selections were unique and different to anything I have seen, which for me is perfect…I love to own something you don’t see everyday.
Ribbon’s collections include rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, scarves, handbags, dresses, tops, trousers and bolero shrugs. Emma chooses the pieces for their textures, cuts, materials, stones, metals and colours giving the boutique a diverse range.
Now, this is what I call service…..Emma goes that extra distance to make your shopping experience welcoming and relaxed, such as fresh coffee and biscuits, fashion books and magazines to get inspiration for your outfits, personal in-house styling service and (this is fantastic!) if you’re feeling peckish the Italian eatery next door will deliver fresh lunch…the full VIP service!

ribbon is a lovely place to go if you're looking for a dress, i recently purchased one for a wedding, love it.
