I had noticed pieces produced by Raggedy Homespun in several of the ‘fabulous places’ I was visiting and one day asked who they were. Raggedy Homespun is a fabulous Derbyshire producer.
Based in Derbyshire, Raggedy Homespun is a team of two lovely ladies who have a great passion for homemade items, including dolls, bunting, stitchery items, door stops…an array of items for the home. I am the proud owner of some of their products, including some fabulous heart bunting which I use on the website's promotional stand (see photo above)!
Raggedy Homespun was born from a hobby by two sisters, Mandy and Sarah. They began making items for friends and family and were encouraged to produce more and sell them to others. Around 18 months ago they decided to make Raggedy Homespun a business. They use only homespun fabrics wherever possible and the theme of their products is shabby chic, using classic patterns to create beautiful timeless items. They also produce unique ragdolls, usually one offs and their stitchery items can be made to order and personalised for weddings, births, birthdays and even door signs or company names can be created.
Raggedy Homespun attend local farmers markets, country shows, local events, school fairs, group events and also hold their own Open Event at home pre Christmas, giving visitors the opportunity to visit them in the environment where the items are produced.

I have several things from Raggedy including aprons that match my table cloth and oven gloves. I also bought some lovely dollies for family members at christmas which they love. They have just started making cupcake and flower brooches which will brighten up any coat or cardigan x
