Cream Interior Design is the creation of Ruth Malloy. Ruth has more than 12 years experience in the textile & interior design industry. In November 2008 she brought her creative inspiration to the village of Melbourne after working for a prestigious interior design company in Leicestershire.
If you need inspiration or someone to take a project on from design through project management to completion, Ruth will be happy to guide you through the process smoothly & professionally. Cream offers a comprehensive interior design service that encompasses everything from complete homes to helping customers find a suitable fabric for curtains or a sofa.
Why not visit & spend time in the ‘book room’ browsing through an extensive selection of fabrics & wallpapers from leading houses such as Colefax & Fowler, Andrew Martin, GP&J Baker, Mulberry, Jane Churchill, Zoffany, Cole & Son, Sanderson, Linwood & Osborne & Little to name but a few. Fabric can be purchased by the metre & wallpaper by the roll or why not call on Ruth’s experience & request a quote to supply & install made-to-measure curtaining & blinds or commission local craftsmen to make bespoke upholstery. Additional to the fabric & wallpaper Cream are also stockists, suppliers & fitters of carpets & rugs from The Alternative Flooring Company, Roger Oates & Jacaranda.
The showroom provides the perfect showpiece for Ruth’s talents & enables visitors the opportunity to browse a selection of home decoratives, gifts, lighting, furniture, soft furnishings & upholstery. If you can’t see what you are looking for ask Ruth to search through her many suppliers for that special piece, be it a light or chair, Ruth will do her best to find the right piece for you.
And if all that is not enough Cream Interior Design also have Farrow & Ball & The Little Greene Paint Company paints and are stockists of the British made home fragrances from Heyland & Whittle. Recently spent a lovely morning in Melbourne with friends and visited Cream. What a great find! There is such a fantastic choice of gifts & items for the home we just couldn't resist a few treats for ourselves and gifts for our family & friends. There is also a lovely selection of lighting, soft furnishings & upholstery fabrics. After many months of searching I have now finally sourced the fabric for my new curtains & cushions, just wish I had discovered Cream sooner! Well what more can I add, it's a lovely shop with very friendly service too, thanks Ruth, looking forward to visiting Cream again soon. Mrs D Maclachlan, Chellaston.
