Clare loves making her own jewllery and is passionate about it, which is clear to see when you visit the shop. The shop stocks an array of beads, tools and accessories...literally, everything you need.

Clare’s Beautiful Beads opened in Belper as a result of a hobby that started through a friend a few years ago, and which rapidly outgrew the space available in my home. It is a place for lovers of beads and jewellery alike. Whether you are seeking a wide selection of beads and findings to make your own pieces of jewellery or, whether you are looking for that unique piece of jewellery, we can offer you an excellent service. We stock a large range of findings, lampwork, silver foil, crystal including Swarovski Crystals, semi-precious and seed beads including Japanese Toho beads. In addition we have a great range of threading materials and beading tools.
When you visit Clare’s Beautiful Beads you will find a friendly, helpful atmosphere, if there is anything you are not sure about please ask. If you have never beaded before and would like to start we have a Basic Beading Class that is run regularly throughout the year as well as other classes covering a wide variety of beading techniques.
We offer a bespoke jewellery making service and a Wedding Service for all your jewellery, tiara and accessory requirements for that special day.

After visiting so many fairs and events, I was inspired to try and make my own jewellery. Being a user of fab places I thought I wold visit here first. What a great place...so many things to choose from and everything I needed to get started. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave me some great advice. I'll definitely be going back.

I have always wanted to start beading but never quite got around to it until i saw an advert in Claire's shop for basic beading courses. That was about four months ago and ive never stopped beading since!! The course was amazing, brilliant for beginners to learn the basic techniques - and take home beautiful jewellery too! Doing the course must be one of the best things i have ever done, i am already surprising myself with beautiful jewellery that i can now design and make. As for Claire's shop, it is just wonderful - proper girly heaven, it feels like being in the most scrumptious sweet shop but you never have to worry about the calories. Thanks to my weekly visits to Claire's shop i have learned so much so quickly about beading and am looking forward to the beading group which starts this week. Not only is Claire's crammed full of beautiful beads, all the staff are incredible. Everyone is genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming and all are extremely generous with helpful tips and advice - always happy to explain and advise on techniques and design etc. Better go now as im typing this at work and have shed loads to do and i could actually ramble on about how fabulous Claire's Beautiful Beads is for much longer. Just to finally sum up : Go to Claire's - you'll love it and if you're not beading yet - what are you waiting for?? thankyou Claire and staff for teaching me how to relax - do some beading of course! thanx Gail x x

I’m one of many regulars at Clare’s Beautiful Beads since starting beading over 18 months ago. Every time you visit, no matter who’s serving you, you’re always greeted with a warm and friendly smile, nothing is too much trouble. There's everything you could image a beader would need. I’ve also attended three of the workshop/courses and every time I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them. It’s such a nice relaxing atmosphere and you come away with array of new skills. Diane the course trainer is lovely; she’s so smooth and calming in her techniques and makes everything look so effortless easy. I well recommend that if you haven’t already visited the shop or tried out one of the courses and you’re interested in starting beading, then Clare’s Beautiful Beads is the place to start. Claire x

If you are into beading then this is the place to visit.The shop is modern and bright,with service and advice from Clare and her team that is second to none.There is a dazzling array of choice from your findings to a beautiful selecton of Swarovski gems.The shop sells ready made jewellery,holds beading classes and does jewellery repairs.I have visited Clares many times and always find something new and different.Highly recommended to any beader whether just starting out or have already become addicted to beading.Be aware though that the shop is closed on Mondays.
